Headed by Oasis and Blur 1994-1996 were the prime time years for a revolutionary time in England. Britpop. Suddenly Britain was cool again in what was (somewhat pretentiously) dubbed ‘Cool Britannia’.
Music, attitude, national pride among the youth it all came back and music was good again. The Britain of the 1980’s had left it’s depressing mark and now it was time for a change and they were “mad fer’it”.
